For the first time ever, YoPro is bringing professional development right to your fingertips with (drumroll please) YoPro Talks!
If you've ever attended a YoPro workshop in the past, it should come as no surprise that the system is brimming with unique talent. YoPro wants to highlight the wisdom across the public media world.
The YoPro team would like to invite you to join in on a series of virtual hangouts where we open the floor to YoPros to hear from them. During these talks they'll discuss career-development, how they've faced challenges in their roles, and additional topics they're passionate about and/or that influenced their experiences in public media.
As the saying goes "iron sharpens iron", and we envision YoPro Talks to carry a similar sentiment where peers can learn from one another to connect and grow as leaders.

The kick off of YoPro Talks will be on Thursday, April 9th at 2:30PM ET with our first talk titled: Tight Walk - The Career Balancing Act.
During the hour, you will hear from a special guest, Leif Brostrom from PBS. Known as the unicorn with diverse career experiences, Leif will be with us to share a little about his background, his experience transitioning from a member station to PBS, as well as how he's learned to balance work with life ambitions. Balance is the name of the game, and with the new "work from home" context many are in, we will also weave in some strategies during the discussion as well.
